Editor · Annotations

Add a text annotation.

Add a text box when a short callout belongs on the chart, not only in the slide notes.

Step 1: Open your chart in the editor

Open any Chartbuddy chart so the editor is active. This works the same in Hub, Embed, Google Slides, and PowerPoint.

Step 2: Right-click the chart background

Right-click an empty area of the chart background. Avoid series, labels, and legend items. The chart context menu opens.

Step 3: Left-click Add text box

Left-click Add text box. A text annotation appears on the chart.

Step 4: Drag the text box into clear space

Left-click and drag the text box into empty space away from the legend and series. Release when the callout sits where you want it.

Watch the short clip above for the full click path.
