Add a CAGR arrow.

Add a CAGR arrow (compound annual growth rate) when you want the growth rate across the full period to sit on the chart, not only in a footnote.

Step 1: Open your chart in the editor

Open any Chartbuddy chart so the editor is active. This works the same in Hub, Embed, Google Slides, and PowerPoint.

Step 2: Right-click the chart background

Right-click an empty area of the chart background. Avoid bars, labels, and legend items. The chart context menu opens.

Step 3: Left-click Add CAGR

Left-click Add CAGR. Chartbuddy draws an arrow on the first span.

Step 4: Left-click the CAGR arrow

Left-click the CAGR arrow to select it. Endpoint handles appear.

Step 5: Drag the end handle to the last bar

Left-click and drag the end handle to the top of the last bar so the arrow covers the full period.

Step 6: Drag the vertical handle upward

Left-click and drag the vertical handle upward until the arrow and label sit clear of the bars and total labels.

Watch the short clip above for the full click path.
