Format an axis break when you want a clearer gap style or a break that spans the full chart width.
Step 1: Open your chart in the editor
Open a Chartbuddy chart that already has an axis break. This works the same in Hub, Embed, Google Slides, and PowerPoint.
Step 2: Left-click the axis break
Left-click the break handle on the value scale. The break toolbar opens with Break Style and Coverage.
Step 3: Left-click Break Style and pick a wider wave gap
Left-click Break Style, then Left-click a wider option under Wave such as 8px. The break redraws with that gap.
Step 4: Left-click Full width coverage
Left-click the Full width (includes axis) coverage control. The break spans across the plot, including the axis.
